Vancouver Music Industry (VMI)

Founded in 2005, this non-profit organization brings together members from the local music industry to support each other and ensure the continued growth of this industry here in Vancouver. VMI produces an the annual VMI Award Gala & Charity Golf Tournament which brings the Vancouver Music community together and raises money for aspiring musicians while celebrating the thriving local music scene.

This two-day event is organized by individuals who are involved in the local music industry and provides funds for charitable organizations including the Sarah McLachlan Music Outreach and Music BC. The event has raised over $70,000 for the Sarah McLachlan Music Outreach program since it began in 2005.
